A Coastal Maine Art Collective Celebrating Local Creativity
Now that 2025 has come to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible customers and community. Rising Tides Collective exists because of you—your support, encouragement, and love for original art and handmade goods make it possible for us to showcase a thoughtfully curated mix of artwork, locally crafted gifts, and artisan-made home décor and to support the Maine artists, makers, and small-batch creators whose work reflects the rugged beauty and generous spirit of Downeast Maine.
We look forward to returning in 2026, so please watch our social media for our reopening date announcements as we take a break to plan our future. Support our Vision
The building that has been home to Rising Tides and the Schooner Gallery is being sold, putting us at a powerful crossroads. Do we rally together to purchase this beloved space? Or do we boldly step into a brand-new home for Rising Tides?
Our very first season exceeded every expectation: more than 50 local artisans showcased, community shows that filled our rooms, and future plans already taking shape. Thanks to the generosity of the current owner of 59 Main Street, we proved a model that works—and now we’re ready to grow it.
We don’t just want to keep the traditions of Schooner Gallery alive—we want to expand them: more exhibitions, more youth programs, more community events, more opportunities for Downeast artists to thrive.
But this next chapter is a big leap, and we need you with us.
